Nice (/ˈniːs/, French pronunciation: [nis]; Niçard Occitan: Niça [classical norm] or Nissa [nonstandard], Italian: Nizza or Nizza Marittima, Greek: Νίκαια, Latin: Nicaea) is the fifth most populous city in France, after Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Toulouse, and it is the capital of the Alpes Maritimes département. The urban area of Nice extends beyond the administrative city limits, with a population of about 1 million on an area of 721 km2 (278 sq mi). Located in the Côte d'Azur area on the south east coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, Nice is the second-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast and the second-largest city in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region after Marseille. Nice is about 8 miles (13 km) from the principality of Monaco, and its airport is a gateway to the principality as well.
The city is called Nice la Belle (Nissa La Bella in Niçard), which means Nice the Beautiful, which is also the title of the unofficial anthem of Nice, written by Menica Rondelly in 1912.

When you plan a trip to Nice, France, you’re in good company: This city has been a tourist destination since at least the 18th century. The European aristocracy often spent their winters in the pleasant climate, with a sunset walk on the shoreline being the highlight of each day. You can walk in their footsteps—literally—with a stroll down the Promenade des Anglais, which roughly translates to Walkway of the English. On a tour of Nice, you’ll enjoy the mixture of French and Italian culture that permeates the city’s architecture, public art, and yes, the food. Bon appetit! The residents of Nice love the outdoors, and you will, too, as you explore the Place Massena—the city’s main square, where you can enjoy a snack at a café or do some shopping in its many boutiques. Any Nice sightseeing ...

Travel video about destination Nice in France. Nice is the Côte d'Azur's fascinating and colorful city located on the curve of Angel Bay, a metropolis that has lost little of its turn of the century charm. It is also a place of contrast with all the pulsating life of an international city mixed with the rich Mediterranean flair of the south. The magnificent Promenade Des Anglais was named after the resort's former large contingent of English visitors and was built during the 19th century. The historical centre of the city, Vielle Ville, has become the home of Arabian immigrants, thus couscous features prominently on the menu. The old fish market is the most beautiful on the entire Côte d'Azur and its traditional displays of seafood are a feast to the eye. The Russian Tsars also spent mu...

http://www.expedia.com/Auckland.d178233.Destination-Travel-Guides Welcome to Auckland. The native Māori people named the area Tāmaki Makaurau, meaning "desired by a hundred men". The attraction is still there today, because Auckland is now the most populous city in New Zealand. In the City of Sails you are always surrounded by water, as becomes clear when you stand on the top of the top of Mount Eden. A nice inner-city beach is Mission Bay. Other visitor attractions in Auckland include the stately Auckland War Memorial Museum in Auckland Domain park. Daredevils can base jump from the Sky Tower. Children will love the Rainbow's End theme park and the Auckland Zoo. Auckland has many diverse neighborhoods, such as hip Ponsonby and laid-back Devonport. From the city, you can set sail to th...
On our trip through Indonesia, we travelled by train from Pangandaran via Banjar to Yogyakarta. There we had a nice hotel with a view on the Borobudur. We had a fantastic guide, Joey, who knew a lot about the temple and it's history. It's sad that the Borobudur isn't one of the 7 miracles anymore, because it's truly remarkable! This video, titled Pondoro, includes some sample footage from Balule Private Nature Reserve in South Africa. Balule Reserve is a large private reserve that borders Kruger National Park. It is unfenced, so that Animals are free to wander back and forth between Balule and Kruger as they wish. Pondoro is the name for Lion in a local dialect, and also the name of the game lodge that I stayed at while I was in this area (a truly fantastic lodge!). One of the nice things about a private reserve is that you aren't restricted to the existing roads. If your guide and tracker spot some interesting activity off in the bush, you can off-road to get a better look. This film was mastered in 4K on RED and has been scaled down to a size that is presentable on the internet. Most of the footage was s...
Even though Carlos manages to cue yoga poses, guide meditation, and play Ngoni (like a harp from Africa) during savasana with total focus and precision, I can't help but chuckle a bit every time his charming Venezuelan accent says something like "rrrrrround your spine". There's a really nice flow throughout this 2nd Episode of Carlos' "Devotion in Motion" yoga video Immersion. He expertly weaves in vinyasa flow style asana through heart-opening, and awareness expanding standing and sitting postures. I felt a nice buzz and tingle immediately after the episode was over that carried me through my whole day. For me, practicing yoga is all about connecting with the teacher. I like to feel that they're just like me, and may experience some of the same challenges and triumphs I do every day. ...
http://www.ozairrao.com - The plan was to reach Ilha do Mel for the Jazz Festival – so to get there – one of the nicest ways to go was by the famous train ride. The ride lasted about 3-4 hours and among its 110 kilomeeters of railway line extension you get to see amazing landscapes, rich animal and vegetation biodiversity, spectacular bends, canyons and gorges, waterfalls and a lot more. Now in our case – we had to travel – so we couldn’t be picky about choosing a clear day – but when you guys go – do make sure it’s a clear sky – you get to see so much more. The train inside was pretty vintage and maintained and they do serve snacks on the way. Also, during the trip the train passes trough 14 tunnels, 30 bridges, beyond mountains and viaducts. Now for the options – we opted for the tourist...
This video’s title was supposed to be “Bow River Nymphing”. However, as we floated the Bow River with David Blair (owner of Fish Tales Fly Shop in Calgary, Alberta) & Terry Johnson (Head Guide at the shop) “38 Minutes” came as a result of Terry being incredibly economical with his instruction and demonstration. From the time we cracked the camera and drone cases to shoot Terry showing & discussing his Bow River nymphing set-up, through to demonstrating how and where to fish the nymphing rig (all completed with on-stream discussion/demonstration while landing three nice rainbow trout) the total time was 38 minutes. When you travel to fly fish, you always hope to meet a guide such as Terry – someone who is clear and concise with tactics that work. This is a great video to help you unders...
